A Taste of my Journey
A Taste of my Journey is a visual metaphor for my personal growth, expressed through a thoughtfully designed menu. Each dish represents a phase of my life: onigiris for my emotional foundation, ramen for the passions I continue to nurture, and a matcha-strawberry sundae for the dreams I hold close. The use of food as a storytelling medium reflects how universal and emotional eating can be, making it the perfect way to share my story. This artwork captures themes of love, struggle, and transformation through a format that is both playful and deeply meaningful.
Every element in the piece was chosen with intention. Japanese food is not only my favorite cuisine but also symbolizes my long-term dream of living in Japan. The onigiris reflect the emotional layers that shaped me. The ramen embodies the creative energy I feed daily. The dessert represents the sweet hopes I carry forward. Together, they form a narrative of growth, connection, and self-discovery. This work is a celebration of how far I’ve come and a reflection of where I hope to go.

Lullaby
In Lullaby, I portray my personal connection to nature shaped by the dreamy quiet of city nights rather than vast landscapes. Growing up in an urban environment, I found nature in the stillness of the sky, the softness of clouds, and the way stars quietly glow above city lights. At the center of the piece is a moon-shaped wind chime gently holding a sleeping version of myself, symbolizing rest, reflection, and the subtle comfort I find in nighttime. The star above signifies hope, and the soft movement of the chime mirrors my quiet, yet meaningful relationship with nature.
I wanted to show that nature does not always roar; it can whisper. Through soft lighting, pastel hues, and delicate textures, I created a dreamlike atmosphere that captures the kind of peace I find under the night sky. Lullaby is about finding beauty in small, overlooked moments, the kind that remind us nature is all around, even in the heart of the city, quietly cradling us in its rhythm.

Silent Voice
Silent Voice portrays the internal chaos that often remains hidden behind a calm exterior. The piece shows a girl inside a train, where one window reveals her emotionless, composed face, while the other reflects a faded version of herself, symbolizing internal struggles like anxiety and overthinking. The contrast between the two figures emphasizes how chaos can exist quietly within, unnoticed by the outside world. This piece explores the coexistence of inner turmoil and outward calm, highlighting how people often suppress their emotions while navigating public spaces like a train ride.
