This project reimagines the classic NES brochure with a modern, brand-aligned redesign presented in two formats: a professionally prepped print layout and a fully responsive, one-page scrollable website. Developed for a course in Layout & Digital Design Tools, the emphasis was on applying precise technical standards and best practices in both print and digital design, while staying consistent with Nintendo’s current brand identity.

The print brochure was created using Adobe InDesign, incorporating a structured grid system, consistent paragraph and character styles, and carefully calculated margins and gutters for optimal legibility. The layout features a .125-inch bleed and crop marks to meet professional printing specifications. Typography choices, color schemes, and graphic elements were selected to reflect Nintendo’s current visual language, guided by their official brand guidelines. Alignment, spacing, and hierarchy were rigorously applied to ensure clarity and polished presentation.

The digital component translated the same visual design into a one-page, scrollable website prototype. Created with responsiveness in mind, the layout was adapted using Figma to simulate mobile, tablet, and desktop views. The structure follows a clear content flow with anchored navigation, section spacing, and scalable design elements that reflect modern UX/UI principles. Typography, color values (HEX/RGB), and spacing were all aligned with digital accessibility standards and Nintendo’s web guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across platforms.

This project highlights my ability to apply industry-level technical precision across both print and digital outputs. From setting up professional print files to designing responsive web layouts, every design decision was informed by branding principles, accessibility, and layout fundamentals—resulting in a cohesive, platform-appropriate experience rooted in Nintendo’s legacy and innovation.
